Navratri 2024 is the auspicious festival of Hindus in India, it’s dedicated to the worship of the Goddess Durga and her different forms. it’s being celebrated with great intensity and enthusiasm by the Hindu community all over India. Navratri 2024 goes for nine nights and is dedicated to a different form of Goddess.

Navratri is celebrated twice a year, one is Chaitra Navratri and the second is Sharadiya Navratri, also known as the Maha Navratri. The second one is more widely celebrated in both of the two. Navratri 2024 will begin on the 9th April and end on the 17th April.

During these days some devotees with fasting and keeping rituals play Garba and Dandiya as their cultural activity. These activities make people come together and seek blessings of Health and prosperity.

Katyayani: – This is the sixth form of Mata Durga, It is believed that worshiping Mata Katyayani cleaned the sin of the devotees and removed his all hindrances of life.

Kalaratri: – Mata Kalaratri is the seventh avatar of Mata Durga and it’s the fiercest form, Kalaratri means the Kala means Black, and Ratri means Night, so Kalaratri is called the savior of the night. By worshiping her one can get wealth knowledge and courage in life.

Mahagauri: – The 8th form of Mata Durga is known as the Mahagauri and is the destroyer of the Rahu. So by worshiping her, one can lid off from all his defects or problems in life. The person will be blessed with happiness and growth in life.

Siddhidatri: – Siddhidatri is worshiped on the Navami of Navratri 2024. Siddhidatri word meaning is as Siddhi- divine powers and Datri- Provider. Means who worship her will be blessed with all the divine powers.

Navratri 2024 is itself made up of the word Nine-Ratri, which means for nine days worshiping of nine goddesses.
